Georgia at WindowTrim your kitten’s nails every week.

If you need to move the litter box to a new area, make sure you let the kitten know where it has been moved.

If you are introducing your kitten to other pets, let them get acquainted slowly. Allow the pets to see and sniff each other by keeping your new kitten in a carrier. After a few sessions, you might try to let them get closer, so they can establish territories. At first, they will probably hiss at each other (this is natural behavior). With time, they will become the best of friends. If a scrap occurs, put the kitten in a safe place and reassure the kitten with lots of love and hugs.

Feeding Tips:

  • Dry food should be left out at all times. We start kittens with Science Diet Nature’s Best and Royal Canin Kitten.
  • Moist food should be made available to the kittens twice daily.
  • Other acceptable foods are Nutra, Iams, Eukanuba, and Friskies.

ENJOY YOUR NEW KITTEN!
